The more I begin to wade through the murky water of how to plant a church the more I realize my need to pray and be prayed for. I think the realization really hit me during the church planting class and since then I have been building up a prayer team as a Face Book group. So far there are 98 people in the group and I’m praying that it will continue to grow. My goal is that by the next Church Planting Class in October that I will have 200 people that are committed to praying for my family and the church plant.

So, for all of you reading this, please consider joining my prayer team, all you have to do is leave a comment below. I would really appreciate your support. In the  mean time, here are some prayer requests for this week:

• Pray that I will be able to finish fixing up my house and find a renter pronto.
• Pray that God will bless my networking efforts as I seek to gain supporters and friends.
• Pray that God will add to the church staff.
• Pray that God will add to the core team for the church plant.
• Pray that my other jobs and Jess’s job would be blessed so that we can keep the lights on and whatnot.
• Pray that God will confirm in my heart and Jess’s heart the exact location we are called to plant in.
• Pray that God will be glorified in this and in everything that we do.
