Before I get started let me say something about the prayer team. There is one prayer team, but I am using 2 ways to communicate to the team:

1. I have a facebook group that I used to get this team started. I send out newsletters to this group inside of facebook.
2. I have a constant contact email newsletter that I will send out each week. You can sign up for this newsletter on the right sidebar by clicking “Join the Prayer Team“.

Ok… and on to the update….

Hey everyone, things are going well. Last week was crazy busy and this week is going to be just as nuts with Catalyst Conference, at least 3 meeting with various people that I will likely talk about in a later post, my awesome kids, and trying to sleep occasionally.

First let me share with you a few answered prayers:

• Ethan has slept much better for the last two nights! Jess and I are cautiously excited about this, please keep praying that he will sleep at night.
• Money has started coming in (Note: the money comes to West Ridge on my behalf, I can’t write checks with it or anything)
  • About 10 minutes after I sent out last weeks prayer request message mentioning that I needed the money to incorporate I was contacted by a friend and a check was written the next day.
  • Also, a fellow church plant has offered to pay for constant contact (an email newsletter service that I will use to keep in touch with the prayer team)

And now, here are our prayer needs:

Personal:

• For Jess
  • pray that she gets some rest
  • has no head aches (a sporactic problem)
  • adjusts to a new schedule
• For Me
  • I need good sleep
  • I need to get back into getting up at 5am

For the Church:

• Staff - I’m still talking to some great people and hoping that some will hop for board for the ride of a lifetime
• Core Group - I have started meeting with people to really talk about building a core group to go and plant. If you are interested in being in this group please let me know.
• The “how” question - God has given me a very clear vision of where He is leading, but the how question is still fairly elusive. Please pray that God will show me how He wants the church planted.
